Review: HP 6520s

Today we will look at another business class notebook, the 2.27kg HP 6520s. It is the intel version to the 6515b notebook.

The model comes with the standard 14.1" LCD which displays at 1280x800. Its processor is the Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 (3MB L2 Cache) 1GB DDR2-667 Ram (one more free slot), 80GB hard disk, Combo drive (CD-RW and DVD-rom). For connectivity, it has bluetooth, 100Based Ethernet, 56k Modem & Intel wireless 802.11a/b/g adapter. 3 USB 2.0, VGA output & SD card reader. The graphics card is the integrated intel GMA X3100 sharing memory with its mainboard.

This model is for businesses who are looking affordable business notebooks without burning their budget. A one year parts and labour complete this bundle. HP business notebook has a 5 years parts life-cycle which means that within 5 years of its launch, there will be spare parts available for replacing or repairing the notebook. This is important as most non-business notebooks keep only one to three years inventory.
