Daily Life: My Stay at KL

I went to KL last Thursday and Friday for a short business trip. I was to meet up with my HP account managers to say hi and to discuss about some outstanding issues. I arrived on Friday morning around 12.45am after a 5 hours coach ride from Singapore Golden Mile tower to KL Puduraya Bus terminal.

I had earlier managed to book a room at swiss-inn hotel which is a 5-mins walk from the bus terminal. The hotel is having a promotion for Oct where for RM148 (include all the taxes) (around S$52), i could get a deluxe room with 1 Amercian breakfast free for a night. Not a bad deal if i say since Swiss-Inn is a more poshed budget hotel when compared to the other budget hotels nearby.

The room is very tidy and poshed. It uses marble flooring which gives it a high class flavour. Since I am travelling alone, the hotel arrange a single queen-sized bed which is very comfortable.

Swiss-Inn is one of the few budget hotels that i like (the last one is the one i stayed at HCM vietnam). If there is in-room internet, it will be great since I brought along my notebook thinking I could get a internet access. (the internet cafe closes around 11pm in the hotel). I will most likely stay there for my next trip up KL.
