Daily Life: 2009 in a nutshell

In a blink of an eye, today is the last day of 2009. Its a year of trouble, pain, sorrow, joy and laughter.

The year started with the death of one of my aunt from lung cancer. Her death is on the eve of the Chinese New year and is keenly felt by all. While at work, I was thrust into a major project in Malaysia and managed to gain valuable experience from it. The successful removal of security threats and windows 2000 from my company remains one of my noted achievement so far in the company. It's a on-going process and remains a key infrastructure concern. This year also see more involvement in business process and I am hopeful MIS will move to be a key supporting pillar for business decisions and move the company forward in 2010.

I also spend more time managing my blog, updating any IT issues, point of concerns and tech reviews. Some of my colleagues who read it feel that it provides a place where they can find some un-basis-ed reviews and I feel encouraged by their remarks. Even though I do not track my readers nor do i wish to, I will continue to keep my blog updated and post more suitable articles. :)

Financially, I managed to adjust my life-style to fit my limited budget and re-pay some of the loans I took during my ill-fated attempt of 2007. I also managed to contribute positively to online forums for some investments I made (due to nature of the investment, I will not say too much currently). I am seeing rewards from these investments and though small, they reinforce my belief in the trading system and will allow me to grow more in 2010.

I still managed to find time out to exercise and train for my Dec 42.195km marathon. It's been 3 to 4 years since I last took part and still managed to complete despite older and heavier. I will continue to train and hope to do better come 2010 marathon.

For love life, things are business as usual. guess this is a area I have much to catch up on. But I will prefer to be single rather than hurt a unsuitable love partner. Since age is catching up, I think I will prefer to go for more sustainable relationship where end-results will be marriage. But still, it's a thought and I will let nature take its due course.

I do have many friends who either got married or upgrade to become fathers and mothers alike. I think it is great..... (leave it as it is)

So what's in store of 2010? That will be my first blog entry for 2010 (which is 30 minutes from now)

Happy New Year and good health and wishes!!!!
