There's a saying 'all work and no play makes jack a dumb boy' I cannot agree more. Its important to take a step back, relax and enjoy the reasons 'why we work so hard for'. I had my one day off today and decided to make good use of it.I go for swim in the late morning to burn off the excess fat in the system and to have a good tan. Later I went to Sim Lim square to pick up a adapter for a colleague. Its on the way so no issues with that. As today is the first day of the movie 'Wrath of the Titans' I decided to go watch it despite alone. I wanted to watch the 2.05pm show at suntec but at 1.45pm I just left Sim Lim square so i went to Illuma instead. Its under renovation so i thought filmgrade (the cinema operator at Illuma) is not open but guess they are. I bought the ticket for the 3.45pm show and went to the nearby National library to wait.
The show did not disappoint me and its a good movie though i hope it is a little too short with little character building. After the movie, its 5.20pm. Just in time for dinner. I already signed up for a CPF sponsored talk at 7pm-9pm so guess got time to go for a steamboat dinner then go to the talk at DBS Tower I (in the
CBD area). The steamboat dinner is good and I managed to finish everything. It also did not cost too much at S$21. Its important to treat oneself once a while to show appreciation to one's self. I wish my friends can join me but since its a weekday, it not possible.
