Daily Life: Reflections for Year 2012

In another few hours time, 2012 will end and 2013 will begin anew. Since I will most likely be at the countdown later tonight, i feel i should do my reflections earlier.

This year there has been many changes more with my family than personal. My youngest brother got married in Australia, my third brother start his own business while my aunt at my father side recover from cancer.

For myself, this year mark the 10th year i am with the current company and there are some additional roles change. They are all for the better and builds my skill set to a different level. Financially I am still weak with many debts remain unclear and other source of income irregular. I view them as temporarily and things looks to be getting better in 2013.
Love life is the only area of no change: Flat. I am still looking for one that i can communicate closely with and been a shy person, it can be a little tough.
Sports area is where i get most of my rewards from this year. I broke my Personal Best during my Safra 21K marathon and during the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2012. It gives me more confidence to continue my training and looking forward to do a under 5 hours run later next year.I also re-establish friendship with some of my poly friends which i have failed to maintain after the disaster of 2007-08.

There are some goals for 2013
1) Clear one or more credit debts
2) Do a under 5 hours 42K run or 2hours for 21K
3) Travel to Chang Mai for Marathon 2013
4) Focus on half and above marathons with 10K reserved for charity events
5) Save an additional S$5000 into my cash reserve before Sept 2013
6) Look to purchase REITS for 2013 as part of investment scheme.
