Daily Life: First Day in Penang

Today I have finally arrived in Penang from SG after a 12 hours coach ride. The coach is from Beach road to KL, then to taiping, ipoh, finally at Penang. There is no much stops on the way there and there is rain in some areas of KL & ipoh on the way to Penang so the coach cannot move as fast as it wishes to. There was also the friday traffic.

From KL to taiping, there are many hill roads which makes the coach slow down on top of the rain as i mentioned earlier. All in all, the journey is uneventful but i did not take any lunch and by the time i reached Hotel royal penang, it is already 10.20pm. Most shops in Penang are already close by then so I have to order from room service some food before i faint.

The fish & chips are really good. either that or I am really too hungry to care. The hotel area do not have any Pasar Malam so I cannot go and get any street food. Guess I am too hungry to continue any further so i will leave it as it is first and explore the area first thing tomorrow morning
