Daily Life: Post Chi Running

Its been 2 weeks since i completed the Chi running session. I have been practicing running 4 times a week with various distance. I must say the timing I had is moving from before 8+ mins/km to 6+ mins/km. A 2mins difference can be quite a feat since I have flat foot and has a old left knee injury.

Despite the high frequencies of runs, my legs does not seems to have any issues and is healing well. I also take a day break in between runs to allow my legs to have a breather.

Later this Sunday I will have a 15K Run against Cancer race so I will use this as a benchmark on whether i have improved enough. I do must admit it is not a easy task to change from previous running form to chi running form. Even so, I am not totally in Chi running form and still needs to work on my running form but I am moving in the correct direction.

The picture is me wearing my aqua shoes which i run in. They force me to run in a better form as there is no protection, no rubber to absorb the shock. It only cost me S$23 a pair and can get in 2 colors, blue which is what i am wearing and black. This picture was taken when i first bought the shoes early June. The rubber bottom of the shoe has since wear out but i will not change it so soon since I am a barefoot runner now so no rubber also does not bother me too much.
