2012. The year some things change while other remains the same. Today I celebrate my 34th birthday. The difference is i went for steamboat dinner with my colleagues at Ling Zi at Novena. One of my colleague is a vegetarian so we tend to go for vegetarian restaurant. It a refreshing change and i must say, i like the food there. No meat to make me bloated and its healthy too.
One of my ex-colleague bought her colleague along for the dinner and i think i make a fool of myself as i forgot her name twice (her name is kaylen). I must make it a point to remember people name.... In any case, my colleagues bought a small cake for my birthday. Its not a big one but its the thoughts that count.
Earlier in the morning, i went to the crematorium to pay my request to my father's side grandparents and aunt. Its always good to get back to the roots where i come from and take this time to pause and think....
As i summarize my special day, I can see a few points: Financially i am still not there yet and time is running out for me if i am to go for my own flat next year. I will need to be more careful with my spending.
Health wise with my focus on chi running, my running has improved and with it, my health. I still get sick but i recover faster and without western medicine. Spiritual things remains the same though i now spend each time on the bus reading the daily bread.
What will next year birthday be like? I am planning for a trip to Taiwan but lets see how. $$ is still in short supply. I am attaching one song i recently listened to and its quite nice. 等我回来 郭富城MV
